Deicke Richards will work with John Gaskell Planning Consultants to help prepare The Spit Master Plan. The appointment of the two firms was announced today by the Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning, Cameron Dick.
The Minister said the two practices would bring the right balance of skills and expertise to the project, including experience in running complex ‘enquiry by design’ processes.
‘This significant appointment means work can now begin on the next stage of this important process, in collaboration with Gold Coast City Council and Gold Coast Waterways Authority,’ he said.
DR and John Gaskell Planning Consultants will lead a consortium which includes Aspect Studios, Colliers International, Cambray Consulting, E2Designlab, Robert Bird Group and Australian Heritage Specialists.
