MOSS Connects Vocational Opportunities & Community

5 June 2020

Construction was recently completed on Mount Ommaney Special School’s new Learning Centre, which will offer its growing cohort enriched vocational opportunities.

Deicke Richards worked with the Department of Education and the school on its master plan and the detailed architectural design of the new centre. A series of Enquiry by Design workshops with the school leadership, staff and the P&C uncovered a strong desire for a design approach that would extend student opportunities within the school and with the broader local community. It also highlighted the need for an integrated landscape approach.

Deicke Richards and the extended team have delivered a Learning Centre and surrounding landscapes that thoughtfully attend to these needs.
