NT Architecture Awards 2025
25 June 2025
Congratulations to all the award winners at the NT Chapter Architecture Awards.
The Jabiru Health Centre by Platt Architects was awarded the top honour. As NT Studio Lead and jury member Katy Moir said on the night “The small wins in this building have big impacts. Simple gestures shift the way a more institutional version of a health centre could previously facilitate. The building is robust and of its place while making the materials and design work hard for its clientele and deliver a facility that supports both the technical requirements and cultural needs of a remote health centre.”
Honouring Richard Layton posthumously set a sombre yet collegiate tone for the evening and everyone was enamoured with storytelling woven by Greg Burgess about his work with the Anangu people on the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre 30 years ago.
