As part of Moreton Bay Regional Council’s ‘Great Places (Urban Design and Place Making) Program,’ Deicke Richards undertook a Township Character and Heritage Investigation with Vault Heritage and MBRC’s urban design team. This project explored the existing character and heritage values of the region’s townships.
The project involved site visits, mapping and a character evaluation against specific criteria for a range of urban, coastal and rural townships. The investigation looked at colours, materials, forms and detail, among other characteristics.
