Eric Nguyen, Master of Architecture (University of Queensland, 2024)

Eric Nguyen is a Master of Architecture at Deicke Richards who contributes across all aspects of the practice, with a strong focus on project documentation. Since joining the profession in 2021, he has built more than four years of experience across aged care and education projects, sectors in which he is particularly passionate about improving people’s everyday quality of life.

Eric brings a thoughtful and quietly rigorous approach to his work. Motivated by architecture that brings joy and elevates daily experience, he is drawn to projects where design can meaningfully support wellbeing and connection. He is committed to Deicke Richards’ shared values and collaborative practice, and he values the opportunity to work within a studio that places people at the centre of its projects.

Eric has contributed to several significant projects, with All Hallows’ McAuley Hall standing out as a formative experience as it was his first opportunity to be involved in a project from early stages through to completion. He also brings growing experience in Enquiry-by-Design workshops, supporting teams to translate ideas into clear and well-considered design outcomes.

Eric holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Queensland (2024). While early in his career, he is driven by a desire to create architecture that leaves a positive and lasting impact, shaping places people enjoy being in and feel connected to.
