
Frances Grant is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Deicke Richards, bringing more than fifteen years of experience in strategic communications within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art sector and the disability and not-for-profit space. She holds a Bachelor of Media and Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, and applies her expertise to promote the practice’s work, values and impact across diverse audiences.
In her role at Deicke Richards, Frances leads communications initiatives that articulate the practice’s commitment to socially purposeful architecture, contributing to how projects and practice narratives are shared with clients, stakeholders and the broader community. She is responsible for shaping the firm’s public profile and brand, managing media and content, managing all submissions and business development, and supporting engagement across digital and print channels.
Before joining Deicke Richards, Frances built a strong foundation in community-centred communication roles, particularly in contexts that intersect culture, art and social impact. Her experience in these sectors informs her approach to communications, placing emphasis on clarity, empathy and storytelling that highlights the human dimension of design.
Frances is passionate about harnessing positive communications for social purpose and enjoys crafting narratives that reflect the values, aspirations and achievements of the practice.
